Hiiro Zaké Sigal Prince (he/him)

Therapeutic Yoga | Meditation | Sound Healing | Group Teacher

Hiiro first found his yoga practice in 2008 through his queer youth group, where the volunteer happened to be a yoga teacher, planting roots that led him to fully immerse in the practice by 2010. He was drawn to yoga to find a like-minded community, connect with other queer/ neurodiverse humans, and feel at home within himself.

Since he began teaching in 2013, he’s steeped in 1,750 hours of training across yoga therapy, mat Pilates, yin/restorative, accessible yoga, yoga nidra, myofascial release, indoor cycling, and sound healing. His teaching, across every style, is unconventional, neutral, and inclusive, leading from the nervous system with a trauma-informed, student-first approach.

A born-and-raised Vancouverite (Kerrisdale, then Downtown, now East Van), He spends his off-hours walking the city with an iced oat matcha, gaming on his Switch, and staying close to friends and family.

Regardless of the obstacles life can present, it's never harmful to live as an eternal optimist.
